I'm glad I got my tickets for tomorrow's game. I'm really hoping for Scherzer to pitch a hell of a game. Plus, I'm going with 4 Phillies fans. So having a rookie shut down their offense would be great for trash talking.

I read in a recent ESPN aricle by Keith Law that A lot of Scouts are comparing Scherzer to Justin Verlander of Detroit (Last years Version)...

If this is even REMOTELY close, See ya Randy, because Scherzer as our #4 along with Webb, Haren, Owings, and DD... That would be SICK...

And I love RJ, but if he continues to be BY FAR the weak link in the rotation, I say the team has an obligation to win as many games as possible and not to RJ and his personal quest for 300 (which my not happend until 2015)...

But again I am prolly getting ahead of myself... lets see how he does against Chase Utley and a pretty potent Philly Line-up...

GO DBACKS!

whats the record for the most no hit innings to start a career? just wondering, cause max is at 4 and 1/3....i wouldn't be surprised if that is the record, or really close.

Does Jamie Moyer realize he doesn't have to pitch until he's 60 to retire comfortably?

Phillies get to Max early as they lead 1-0 in the first.

Chris Young just struck out for the 37th time this season. Actually the 1,2,3 most strikeout prone players in MLB are in this game

1. Ryan Howard - 45
2. Mark Reynolds - 43
3. Chris Young - 37

moyer is going to get hit hard this game. he got some lucky breaks. i think at least 3 homers off him for us tonight. im not worried. max is going to shut this lineup down the rest of the day. butterflies gone.

Phillies score 4 runs in the third but 3 of the runs unearned because of Drew's error.

Young needs to get out of the leadoff and Drew needs to get out of the cellar.

Byrnes has one hit in his last 17 at bats. If he's still being bothered by that tight hamstring, then he needs to sit. Being an automatic out is killing this team.

The Dodgers are now only three games behind the Diamondbacks.
