Between Davis and Scherzer, one of them had to pitch out of the bullpen irregularly and one into the regular rotation.

Which is better for the team? I said it when Davis returned and I say it now.

It would have been far better for the rookie to stay in the rotation and Davis to be long relief.

Better for the team. Better for Scherzer's development. And better for Davis at this point of his career.

Daron Sutton calls Melvin "The Mad Scientist" for a reason. He made an illogical decision.

I am tired of Daron calling Melvin "The Mad Scientist" and asking for more signs. I am also sick of Grace saying "Car." It gets old after awhile.

Why don't you look at the big picture?

I posted when Davis returned that he is better equipped to cope with the irregular long relief role than the rookie Scherzer.

That's hardly a knee-jerk reaction to one bad inning.

I like Davis and admire what he has come through. But Scherzer's role as a pitcher doesn't deserve any less consideration than Davis'.

Too many young players on this team are under-performing. I hope Scherzer doesn't become another one.

A Pittsburgh fan caught the ball over the fence, but at chest level. The momentum of the ball carried his glove down...You can be the judge.

I loved seeing some fire out of Randy, but not this...how can a HOF veteran let something like that effect his game so much? ugh
