B. Kim is probably my favorite D-Back of all time, but the Questec system kills his effectiveness. The only pitch he can locate with any consistency is his fastball; since he never gets calls at the top or bottom of the strike zone, if he doesn't get calls on the edges either, batters can play "let's wait for the meatball".

I thought his velocity was the same as usual--he topped out at 90 or 91. It looks like he took something off of his frisbee pitch, though (probably trying to improve its accuracy).

First guy I've seen who actually throws like they do in Nintendo Baseball.

Some of you fans are crazy--not only did AZ win that WS in dramatic fashion, they wouldn't have been there in the first place without BK.

Besides, Brenley's the one who left him in for 60+ pitches.

When did Brenly leave him in for 60 pitches? 2001?
sure he did save a bunch of game in 2001 but in the WS he was rough he blew an importane game or two during the series. That's why he got booed even before the game started last night. I just don't think Kim is good for this clubhouse. He sleeps before games, instead of preparing with the rest of team and pretends not to know english so doesn't have to talk with the team.

He didn't lose those games because he choked; he lost them because he wasn't that good to start with, and the Yankees figured him out. They wrote the book on BK that teams still use today.

That's why he got booed even before the game started last night.
I thought he got booed because of the moron fans.

I'm sure Rain Matt agrees with you, though.

How about Justin Upton hitting 5th and getting intentionally walked as a 19-year-old in his SIXTH career game? Bonds better enjoy his record while it lasts. :D

Lol - not to get ahead of ourselves but i was telling a friend two days ago that in 15 years we will be watching Sportscenter and they will make a big deal on how Upton hit his first career HR the same day Barry went for 756 and relate the irony as he is now on the cusp of becoming the HR king. :D

We're always somehow behind the Mets. Stupid Mets need to lose more.

Back ontopic: Yes, another series! I'd have loved a sweep but I'm still fine with a series win.

Davis had turned into a solid #2 guy. He has been way better than I expected.

Keep the train rolling!
