I am much more of a Marvel an than a DC fan myself.

However, the Marvel MMO that was supposed to come out turned into Champions Online. It was a great game, until about a week into it's release (I played it in open and closed beta) when the devs decided that it need a balance pass which, only after many more tweeks and changes, essentially gutted out any sort of distinction between character classes.

I have to give Sony credit, DCUO beats both City of Heroes/Villians and Champions based upon the iconic feel all it's own. I mean, video games are video games...but which gives you a better comic book feel? Going to work some generic Superhero leader (ala Statesman in CoH, or Defender in Champions), or Superman?

I've been tempted to try it, I'm on my half-year WoW break now that the weather is nicer, but I can't help but still be on the fence.
Maybe I'll try it around September.
