Did anyone hear the Darnell Docket interview with Bickley and MJ?

Man did that guy seem happy with the new defense and coaching staff.

Said he was tired of recieving blows and putting up with trash talking from other teams as he and his defensive linemen couldn't do what they do best and attack.

Said he is seeking vengence for all the teams that talked trash.

The time for setting back is over.

One guy that seems like he wasn't sorry to see Horton go.

Also loves the teaching that is going on. Wished he would have had these coaches his whole career because it would have made a huge difference.

I don't know if the defense will be better but you can see Docket is excited and that makes me excited to see what they will do.

Given the results it doesn't seem like what the Dline did best was attack or different from what Horton had them do.

28th in points allowed in 2008 with the #3 offense. 27th in 2007 with the #7 offense doesn't speak well for your defense.

30th in 2010, 29th in 2006, 26th in 2005 with the NFL's #1 passing offense. But almost a TD per game better under Horton. What is it you're good at again Darnell?

thanks for your transcription - this is my favorite part of ASFN as I miss most interviews and stuff.

Horton got results. But he certainly had his detractors. And his teams were below average at stopping the run.

It'll be interesting how the new staff handles both Washington's.

It should be an ASFN rule of the site that anyone who writes this has to list every game the Cardinals lost because they couldn't stop the run.

If you want a legitimate knock on Horton's defense they did have a tendency to give up a big play at inopportune times. Which is one big reason why I think Arians wanted to re do the Safety positions.

But otherwise there is really no justification for bashing a guy whose defense allowed a team with one of the worst offenses in NFL history to win 11 of 13 games. An offense so bad for 3 years it got almost all the coaches and the GM fired.

I think DD will have a monster year this year. DD will have DD (Double Digit) sacks this year.

DD is the man and I expect him to look like his old self this year in a D more suited to his strengths. DD and CC are gonna kick some asses.
