I dont think it matters which one they go with.

Jake the turnover machine.
Moore who stunk in preseason, and the half he played the first week of the year where he also stunk so bad it forced the Panthers to go out and sign Feeley after game 1. Dan Morgan said on the radio he doesnt think Moore even knows the playbook.
Feeley who has only been in their system for 6 weeks.

I'd rather have a backup because I'm afraid of Delhomme. He put up a ton of offense last week before throwing some terrible INT's. You can't count on him to give the game away every week. I hope our defense takes him seriously.

Hey everyone, I thought I'd drop in and give you an early congratulations on the victory against the Panthers. They just named Delhomme as our starting quarterback so you'll have at least 3 interceptions by halftime. Outside of that, hopefully no injuries in this game and we'll see ya next year. Good luck the rest of the season.

The playoff game against the Cards started his demise. How appropriate that he can either die or resurrect himself against the Cards.

It's a reoccuring theme. Detroit 2 years ago was 6-2 when we held them to the lowest rushing total of all time -17 yards and they have never recovered. Buffalo came into our stadium 4-0. We whopped them really good and they haven't been the same since. You can say the Dallas game last year changed their year, but then again, playoffs in Dallas isn't exactly the norm these days. Then you have Carolina and we sent them into a tailspin too.

Im not scared of their QB play; regardless of who is behind center. Its the defense that concerns me. They still have good individual pieces, such as Beason and Peppers, that can reek havoc on an offense. They are currently ranked #5 in overall defense. That may be skewed because of the competition they've played, but it still goes to show that they are no slouch.

The psychology of getting beat by the Cards, who many called the perennial doormat of the NFL for years, really lingers for many teams. I heard someone on ESPN's first take yesterday who was asked if the Cards are a legit NFC contender. He answered "no" simply because he is used to the Cards being losers for so long that he can't change his opinion of them. This is probably the case for many veteran players and coaches throughout the league.

Wonderful news.

The Cardinals officially broke him last year in the playoffs. He hasn't recovered since.

The Panthers really didn't have much of a choice.

Although Delhomme has been picked off 13 times and has a QB Rating of roughly 57.6, his two backups have ratings in the mid to low 30's.

Also - I'm not sure whether McCown is healthy or enough to play - I recall somewhere that he was either placed on IR or at least out-of-action for a while.

So the question Foxy had to ask himself was: "Which guy gives us the best chance of winning?" (i.e. do I drive to Chicago in my 15-year old pickup with the worn brakes? Or do I drive my son's one-year old Honda with the cracked rear right tailight?)

If there's anyone the fans should blame, I'm not sure it should be Fox. By not having a viable backup QB (let alone a starting one), the Panther front office should be held accountable.

Meanwhile, all this makes me very very scared. (Can you say: "Trap Game")?

I still remember Vinnie Testeverde kicking our ass off the street. Underestimating Delhomme is a mistake.

THe Jets a few years ago ended thier season at 1-15. We were the 1. This kind of game scares me. The board is taking this team to lightly. I hope the players are not. A lose here would make all the work go back to, they lost, why, it was the Cardinals!.

I don't know that it matters.

At least they have a book on Delhomme.

I worry about those guys you haven't seen much of before.
