Would love it. There's some quality runners out there in FA/Draft. I just want to make sure we get one of them.

Murray is definitely a beast.

I can say I haven't heard anything from my end, but wouldn't complain about this either....as long as the deals are close $ wise.

I'll shoot a text to see if there's been any talk they know about

There is something to it.

per Clayton. On espn he just said Arizona is the front runner for Murray along with Indy.

Edit: espn also mentioned jax. Unless something drastically changes, they are not signing him

I would be happy with that because he's younger, prolly cheaper & has less miles on the legs.

The stat that worries me is the following year after a RB has 400 touches in a season. Not a good track record.

I never understood all talk after the season of why  Jones would be wanting to trade for AD & his salary when he had a younger stud in Murray he could sign. Crazy ass Jerry lol

Is Murray that good or is he a product of Dallas's very good Oline?

Both, the Cards have proven you can't run the rock well if your Oline sucks no matter what RB we brought in...for years!!!

People forget Murray also flashed his running ability when & after AD left OU.

He is very good. Doesn't he have a reputation for fumbles?

Yes, and when Romo stopped throwing interceptions at key moments... Murray made sure to pick up the tab and fumble on cue, guy holds the ball like Terry Metcalf used to lol

And minor injuries up until this past season. I'm still concerned this year because of the 400 touches if we do indeed sign him though I'll believe it when I see it.

I'd be happy with either. Our offense would finally be all around, instead of a passing one.

I still have to think if jerry wants to pay him, he'll stay in Dallas.

Maybe we're floating this to push Minny to make the deal. Showing we have options at RB and will act sooner rather then later could give the Vikings a ticking clock they don't otherwise have.

Agreed cbus.

We've got 2 options & hopefully we don't get shut out, though the Murray 400 touches & that history concerns me.

Yep, I hope he's not using the cards as leverage for Dallas.

Good point, and with Keim it might not just be talk but actually legitimate pressure on Minny.

I just read the Cowpies freed up $8mil in cap space by re-working Tyron Smiths contract & could add 12.8mil more with Romo. Looks like they're gonna make a run at one or the other.
