I liked Dixon out of college.

If someone is coming right in as the number 2 they better know the offense.
They may even actually bring in a number 3 or even a PS QB and roll the dice with Thomas.

You can't be serious?

The only reason I mention him is because he does know BA's offense. It took Palmer half a season to get this Offense down so he wasn't throwing picks left and right.

BA said all the right things about him so maybe it wasn't just BA propping up a player.

Not a lot out there to choose from but like most of us I'm very concerned about how Logan would do.

Doesn't Kitna know the system?

I doubt Kitna can still hit bombs. That's what our offense relies on. Washed up old QBs with no arm strength will force us to completely change our offense and frankly will put the talents of John Brown and Ted Ginn Jr. to waste on offense.

Jeff George with a walker could probably still throw 65 yards on a rope.

I honestly think they won't go with Dixon. The reason they went with Dixon is that knew Palmer was going to be back in a few weeks and didn't want to go all out on a better FA QB. Now if they know he is done for the season, they will have more interest in a better QB for a second stringer. Freeman comes to mind.

Freeman would be useless to the Cardinals until he digested the offensive playbook. So maybe by next training camp. . .

Freeman is available and so is Case Keenum.

I hear Matt Leinart is available. I would take him over those other guys. I don't know who we are gonna get but I hope it's not Dixon. I would take any retired old QB right now over Dixon. He'll I would even take Kolb or Skelton back over Dixon. How about the old Seahawks QB. I think he can still play.

I would rather see Dixon than Freeman. Freeman doesn't know the offense at all and never seemed like a quick study to me. Dixon at least has been in this offense. Like it or not you can't just bring in anyone and expect them to run this offense from the get go.

Now I'm wishing we coulda kept Brian Hoyer while we we had him.
Wishes are like fishes, everyone has the biggest one amigo. We got what we got, no rear view mirror in the history books, and we want to make history.
