DePodesta joins the NL West

Dodger's new owner just hired Paul DePodesta as his GM - I wonder if that means not planning to spend big to renovate now, but rather looking to build an Oakland over the next few years. Now THAT would give me a reason to hate LA again as much as the Gnats.
