1) It's definitely extremely normal that your first round pick cannot see the field this far into his rookie season.

2) I think we need a better OLB rotation to help the pass rush. Gardeck is pretty cooked at this point, but these guys are maybe playing too much.

3) Andy Isabella got snaps! Wave if you noticed him.

4) As predicted, Moore's snaps remained relatively stable while Antoine Wesley got the bulk of DHop's work in 3WR sets when Kirk was off the field.

5) We could really use another quality defensive end. I know Jordan Phillips is listed there, but that's not really where I see him play. The drop-off from Zach Allen to Michael Dogbe is pretty steep.

Wesley is one of those guys I can see the lightbulb coming on strong once he gets it. He has big play potential. But to depend on him like they tried yesterday is a bit redunk.

I remember everyone wanting Zach Allen cut a year ago. He’s a rather solid DL (just want to go on record I defended him last year and continue to support him now).

I didn’t notice AI; I even watched the condensed replay this morning (over coffee at 5 am).

Kyler is killing this team. I’m not ready to give up on him, but his play isn’t inspiring the team.

Yeah Wesley had a mixed game On the longer pass he made a nice effort but lots of NFL Wr's get both feet in there, sometimes you need your teammate to help you out and make a play. He had 2 chances and didn't either time. I edited out the first one on 4th down the game story says the DB deflected it, I didn't record it so I can't check. Live I thought he got both hands on it just didn't catch it but the game story says otherwise.

Also on Rondale per the Cards site he hurt his ankle and left the game because of that, still you are right he got less snaps than Wesley due to where they play

Also from the Cards site Phillips hurt his knee and didn't return, no word yet how serious. Big blow if he can't play against Colts he's been pretty decent since coming back.

Keim’s fascination over ILBs is weird as hell. Did he really enjoy the Dansby-Washington duo that much? He does realize we were still strong in the trenches with them, right?

For me, the bolded is a bridge too far. He's not killing the team. He's not, like, Zach Wilson.

I also think it's too early to be asking, "Who is he making better on the offense?" He came in extremely raw and he has more to figure out than a lot of other guys, plus he's learning on the job.

We wouldn't be where we are right now without Kyler Murray, and there are only 10-12 other QBs in the league that, IMO, could have gotten us as far as he has. It's SUUUUUUPER frustrating to have to deal with these growing pains and feel like he's regressing when the heat is on.

But that's part of the process.

All true statements about Kyler. He’s played about as much hs ball as he has college and pro combined.

He isn’t looking too poised to me tho. He looks a bit frustrated and as if he is pondering where it’s all going wrong (this tossing the ball as he is looking away and running for his life needs to be ceased and get rectified.

The whole team was a half step off yesterday. Even baker was missing tackles he usually lights people up on.

Lions ran a lot of shallow crosses (through motion and otherwise) that really exploited our coverage weaknesses.

I saw Isabella run routes with Colt taking a snap.

Wesley played better than I expected. Maybe KK does know how to use him for a bit, but he needs to work on the fundamentals.

I would still say VJ is not using Allen properly. I see him as more of a 4-3 DE than a 3-4 DE. He is not strong enough to hold his stand as a 3-4 DE but does have a good nose for seeing the opposing offense play and a high motor. I think he is a smarter version of Golden.

It's a good thing we spent a second round pick last year on a part-time gadget player who averages 8 ypc instead of drafting an offense or defensive lineman.

Zero defensive snaps for Collins again. But I’m sure no one should be concerned.

Hate to say this, 2 second-round picks on two gadget players and the first one has bust written all over him.

Watching this guy sprint toward the sideline for a couple of yards is getting old. He is fast but I have yet to see him put a move on someone.

His upside is Jakeem Grant who was picked in the 6th round.

Another big reach by Keim.

I would much rather see Collins put in on third down doing one simple mission, blitzing the QB than seeing Gardeck who after his injury just is not getting there. Ya see, Vance is a much cuter puppy than Kliff making his LBs do his version of Riverdance going in and out of coverage

There's got to be something going on with Collins that we don't know about. He was decent in preseason & early on. Now he's getting zero snaps even when the game is out of hand. I'm not sure if it's disciplinary or not. It's just weird. There's no way that he isn't able to contribute in some shape or form on defense.
