I lost a sister last year. It sucks.
But do not for a minute let that grief make you feel guilty.
The child is a blessing and joy is a healthy response.

Field Yates has the Arizona Cardinals selecting Texas A&M edge Shemar Stewart 16th overall. Stewart had alarmingly low production for the Aggies with just 4.5 sacks in 35 games. Good size, athleticism and film at Senior Bowl but too high for the Cards with very little output.

Sounds like a perfect Cards pick.

The reason I think they will like him is because he reminds me a lot of Darius Robinson. Tall, 290lb, not great speed, powerful, not great production, will have inside flex in the NFL.

Robinson had the 1 good year in college but he was a 5 year guy. Through 4 years Robinson had 4.5 sacks, Stewart has that in 3.

But because he's similar to Robinson I don't think he will be our pick.

I know obviously that e.g. Jones is not at the same level as Carter, but purely talking about player type not a quality comparison.

I'm thinking pass rusher is the priority with a big body DT added in the 2nd or 3rd.

What's missing is that every player you name as comparisons to the Eagles players are homeless mans versions of what the Eagles have. Jones/Stills can't carry Carter's jock strap. Same with Robinson/Nichols vs. Williams/Graham.
