Three area girls basketball teams will play in the PIAA semifinals Friday and Saturday.
The PIAA announced sites and times for those games Sunday.
District 6 champion Bishop McCort will face District 6 runner-up Penns Manor at 7 p.m. Friday at Central Cambria High School in Class 2A. Bishop McCort beat Penns Manor 54-49 Feb. 27. District 5 champ Berlin Brothersvalley takes on District 2 champion Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Chambersburg Area High School.
In Class 1A girls, District 6 runner-up Bishop Carroll Catholic battles District 6 champion Bishop Guilfoyle Academy at noon Saturday inside Altoona Fieldhouse. The Marauders beat the Huskies 50-27 Jan. 3 and 61-44 in the Feb. 26 district championship game.
