We need to sweep this team and get rolling again.

The Mets starting pitchers' ERA's for the series were at least 1 full run (4.-- vs, 3.--) each vs. the D-Backs starters.

And we won Game 1 by 1 run. A sweep sounds good.

Three things to know about this game

• Of the 23 balls the Astros put in play against Corbin in his last start, 20 qualified as soft contact -- below Statcast's hard-hit threshold of 95 mph. That 87-percent rate is the third highest this year for a D-backs starter who generated at least 15 batted balls.

• One of Milone's three starts with the Mets earlier this season was in Arizona on May 16. He gave up five earned runs on six hits and three walks over 5 2/3 innings, striking out four. Milone is 0-2 with a 7.59 ERA in two career starts against the D-backs.

• Corbin also pitched in that series, allowing four earned runs over six innings on May 17. He did not factor into the decision. Lifetime against the Mets, he is 0-3 with a 6.04 ERA in six appearances, five of which were starts.

I was so shocked when that happened. I honestly think that is the first time all season our OF has thrown someone out at home.

If someone knows to the contrary please share, because I really dont remember it happening prior to that play. Great throw DP.
