You guys must be the most fickle fans on earth. It wasn't more than two weeks ago that Goldy was single-handidly carrying the team. Now he's washed up...oh, and it must be because of the Bible studies. Is he perfect? No. Is the tone on this board right now justified? NO.

Bible studies, no. Saying that, because of it, he (as a team leader) has changed his priorities, not appropriate. Not in a baseball locker room. That amounts to discrimination, let alone influencing young players. It wouldn't be allowed in the break room of a public corporation. There is a time and place for everything.
And nobody is saying he is washed up. Please reference the post that says that. My only criticism is that he announced to the Press, regarding activities an MLB locker room, that he has rethought his priorities and what is important. That is about the time that the D-backs started on their nosedive.
It is all very specific. To infer anything else is vague and unfair.
