Rotation as it stands
Gallen R
Burns R
Rodriguez L
Kelly R
Pfaadt R

Currently on the outside
R. Nelson R
Montgomery L
Henry L
Diaz R
Walston L

Guys pegged to be ready this year
Yu-Min Lin L
Cristian Mena R

Lots of arms to use to make a trade.

Ryne has to make this rotation over Kelly in my opinion. Kelly is showing wear and tear the last two seasons.

You must be registered for see images attach
Henry & Walston are not MLB caliber pitchers

Let's just hope that the Burnes signing means that Montgomery will be jettisoned soon via trade for a couple buckets of balls or a late round draft pick. I know the DBacks don't want to eat the contract, but you don't need a 6+ or 7+ ERA pitcher in the starting rotation. I guess he could be used for mop up duty if the DBacks have a 10+ run lead late in the game.
is there an overpaid Closer or DH?

What should not be lost in this is that Burnes is a massive innings eater. Burnes has pitched at least 192 innings the last 3 seasons. It should limit the work that the bullpen has to do.

The Naylor trade was also excellent news.

The Dbacks have 3 30 HR hitters to go with this pitching. We really need a right handed DH though
What are your thoughts on the DBacks possible trading an outfielder and/or starting pitcher to get a right handed DH and/or closer?

Moves likely to happen:

OF traded for a closer

Grichuck brought back to platoon DH with ADC/Pavin Smith or Montgomery traded for a platoon righty.

Montgomery stays with the team through spring training and you wait for an arm injury to trade him. There is always a big one

This is a COMPLETE STUNNER! I pretty much figured we were officially out of the starting pitcher market, let alone a Cy Young winner. This is just a stunner! Already thinking I need to watch some games this season.
