I was looking for the game because I apparently can't tell the difference between Thursday and Friday...

Friday is the one with the big smile on it. But I rechecked my schedule too once I saw someone had started a Padres series thread. Made me think of that commercial with Bob Uecker where he's sitting alone in a stadium (Great seats!) waiting for a game that isn't coming.

I didn't think he would turn it around so quickly or at all. Thought it might have been time to start talking about sending him to the bullpen but good for him that he turned it around hope he can keep it going.

McCarthy pitched well again tonight and the bats finally come alive here in the 7th! Pen gotta come up big and hold down the Padres!

They did. Bell appeared to have a little rust to shake off, especially after the Venable bunt. It's all good though as he pulled it back together and shut 'em down. 5-2 Dbacks take the first of 3 as the Rockies appear to be thumping the Gnats, and the Doyers continue their slide to irrelevance.

Getting hits box score doesn't look that bad but Miley got smoked. Wonder if he got hurt on that line drive back to him.

Kennedy fumbled a knife in the kitchen and will miss his start on Monday... Who knows, perhaps some time off might do him some good...

Dbacks win!

Prado 4-4.

Corbin wasn't as perfect as he has been, but he still did enough to win.

Bring on the Rangers!

Prado had his best game as a Diamondback. Looks like he is getting hot. Tomorrow is going to be tough with the Rangers. It will be interesting to see how Skaggs does.

If it's not 5 games, this would be a gentle way of dropping him from #1 in the rotation. That might do him some good, too.
