Anyone know the biggest comeback win of the season for the Dbacks?
They came back from 1 run down to beat the Pirates

Tracy just got off the DL, so they decided to take advantage of the DH to limit his workload.I think it's funny that Tracy is DH'ing and Reynolds is supposed to have the inferior glove. Trade Tracy now!
He had been doing well at the plate before he got hurt...Oh, sure, now you do something at the plate, Tracy! You'll probably ride that into a starting job.
That's true, besides the home runs he was hitting well. Good average, a lot of doubles. Still once of my favorite players. He had been doing well at the plate before he got hurt...
nice play by hudson there should have been a triple play.
I don't like the announcers ragging on Drew for that. First off, it looks like it would have taken a hell of a play to get Matsui at the plate anyway. Second, why no faulting Tony Clark for making the throw to 2nd in the first place? Where was Matsui when he threw the ball there, and why didn't he just look him back and eat the ball?
i guess the blame could have been on both drew for not throwing home, and clark for not holding the runner. anyway you look at it hell of a play by hudson. i am not sure the run will come back to haunt them anyway.
Does this really matter? The game was over before that play. Luckily the Padres lost but I thought with Webb pitching, they would win.
The announcers said Matsui was holding. Clark threw to second to bait him to run and it worked. You see this play happen once in a while. Grace and Sutton had a clear view of Matsui and I will take their word. It was a dumb play by Drew. You can see he thought that was the third out.
A better question may be why is Byrnes hitting 4th? He was doing so well leading off, it seems weird to move him to the 4 hole. Not that CY didn't do a good job, but its more of Melvins shuffling which I don't like.
Go into Yankee Stadium and start experimenting.
Bob Melvin is a ********, blooming idiot. A career Bench Coach who is allowed to continue managing to cover management's ineptitude when they hired Wally Backman.
Enough already. We have two good candidates in Chip Hale and Kirk Gibson. (My preference is Hale.)
But no, stick with the bumbler.
The sad thing is if the Diamondbacks continue to stay in the playoff race, Melvin will be back and who knows, he could get an extension.
