He's been given 92 chances this year, hardly a low number for a rookie in this point of the season.

He sure has responded well to the "regular" routine of pinch-hitting. Don'tcha think so?

Considering he has a grand total of 9 pinch hitting at bats, no, I don't think very many conclusions can be drawn from that.
