I can't get over how horrible he was. I really feel bad for the guy, he was in really, really bad shape. There are times to let go and there are times to let go. I can't believe they let him on the air. He literally sounded drunk, but i know it was his health. I wish him all the best

I knew he sounded awful, but I was so proud of him for coming back. That must have been a tough notion - going back on air, when you dont even sound like yourself.
I think he should probably hang it up, but I think it was good for him to come back, if just this once.

I thought it was great he was back for this year. That must have been so hard for him both physically and mentally. I mean, he the guy who every one joked about never aging, and then within 2 year's he's barely able to speak. Very sad.
BTW--he sounded like he was deaf, but he still looked great.
