Meanwhile Bethel starting at Corner and a safety from Washington State playing Linebacker. Something wrong with this picture

I hate that everyone and their Mother know Arians/Palmer would take a deep shot after the pick by PP.

Carolina had better position in the endzone than we did on Rodgers hail mary, yet he still lets it fly.

:bang:

The Steelers will grab the pass rusher we want so please draft the best CB or defensive lineman on the board.

The Steelers didn't "move up" and take someone over Jonathan Cooper. He was strange from the start. Talked about being a loner and playing video games in his dorm during national interviews

Warning signs.

WRONG hindsight is 20/20 that was the right pick to make at the time he was the highest rated guard since Larry Allen. Two guards went in the top ten of that draft and like 3-4 OT

DJ and Coop need to step it up. Coop being the 7th overall pick should be dominating and not riding the bench. DJ has this offseason to prove he isn't a bust.

"Highest rated guard since Larry Allen?" He wasn't even the highest rated Guard in that draft. Chance Warmack let's not re-write history. Jonathan Cooper was a good college Guard from North Carolina with a strange personality. He was a wild reach

What round was Allen drafted in?

Lesson to be learned...never draft an OG in the top 10!!! Btw how's that Chance Womack guy working out? :p

Keim needs to do better in the first round. That pretty much sums it up.

Yep

Can Buc play his natural position of S at a high level? Can he add the weight to be a stud ILB? IMO he's a solid player but can he be great at either?

Which would make a good example why taking interior OL men in the top ten should never happen. I wouldn't take one in the 1st round.

I expect the plan is for both to start next year.

Which goes back to my point elsewhere, the Cards have to decide do they want to make another run with Palmer and an older team, or get young even it means a year or two of not making the playoffs. Palmer will still be the QB next year but if you change up the OL and get younger on the DL and other positions, you probably take a step back.

This team is 20-4 with Palmer recently, if they keep the core together we're picked 2nd behind Seattle next season and looking at another 11-12 win season if things go ok. But they have to decide do they think we can win it all next season, or not. If the answer is not, they may just decide to rebuild.
