Yes Frank Gore is the measuring stick.
Gore is easily a top 5-10 running back.
If Gore is a top 5-10 RB (and I don't disagree) why is he the measure of "average?"

Gore gained those yards as a a rookie in spare playing time.
Yeah, so is Wells.

But the output comparison was yours to make, not mine. So don't start back tracking now.

Dude, are you drunk? Seriously, you're not making any sense tonight.
Nope just a really bad headache.
It doesn't take much to stop the 49ers offense. So pounding your chest about stopping the 49ers doesn't make much sense. Get it?

You said you'd reconsider your stance on Wells being "average" when he tops Gore's rookie output. Okay, but that tells me that you think Wells is merely average if that's the measure you're using.

Then, you say that Gore gained his numbers in sparse PT; the implication being that even if Wells beats it he could still just be average in your eyes. You're building your outs to this discussion, you're backtracking.

Get it?

No chance.
Cutler will be Cutler, leading to 4 turnovers.
49ers win a blowout
49ers 49
Bears 6

Smith with 118 yards! WhereTF did you really think all those points would come from?

5 picks from Cutler and you guys score..... 10??
I would take Gore any day of the week.. but an offensive Juggernaut the 49'rs are not.

I didn't realize SF had signed Devin Hester. Great move by the 49ers. Couldn't have won tonight without him.

Whoever the GM of Chicago is should be canned. That has to be the worst mish-mosh of WR's that I've ever seen. Hester needs to drop 20 lbs. and focus on his return game and quit acting like a WR and the Bears need to sign TO or some other attainable WR so Cutler has someone to throw the ball to other than Olsen.

I nominate last night for: "most unwatchable close game of 2010"

It was like a bad pre-season game

I do, but you don't.
I never said Beanie will any better than average.

I said i would stop calling him so you wouldn't get "all Huffy".

I seriously am not following you, this is barely English.

I said I think Gore is a top-10, maybe top-5 RB. That's why I think it's odd that he's the guy you're holding up as a measure of whether or not Beanie is "average." That's all.

I'm not huffy, BTW, in another thread I was called "husky," though.

How's that Gore bet going for ya Ronin?
doing good...he's bound for a 250 yard game, next week.

On a serious note, I didn't expect the O-line to be this bad in run blocking, and the play calling to be so predictable. Jeezus!
