We won on Sunday night........national stage.......and all the talk was about how the Vikings could come back, even down 17.

Al Michaels talks about the reverse scenarios in the game, with Minny winning, San Fran winning........not about what's next.

NO MENTION of the Cards win in Peter King's MMQB.......nothing at all.

Al Michaels greatest quote from the game:

"It's only a matter of time before #69 gets in your face."

If you read Peter King articles for Cardinals information or insight then you are going to be in for major dissapointment.

He NEVER talks about the Cardinals. EVER.

It is Patriots 24/7 with a splish splash of Giants, Steelers, and Cowboys.

And when he does mention them ? It is to say they suck.

And, he constantly pushes how good Starbucks coffee is when all "real" coffee snobs know Starbucks coffee sucks.

I like reading MMQB/MMQBTE, but I can see why my Cards questions aren't answered.

No matter what we do we will not get the respect we deserve. So lets run with it and slide in under the radar. Lets shock the NFL like we did last year.

Just we need 2 things
1. win division & reach playoffs
2. win some playoff games
the real test will come if we play Saints or Vikings again. Beat them and everyone will shut up forever.

Last night on Westwood radio before the MNF game they had Peter King on. They were talking playoffs and Peter King mentioned the Cardinals as the most dangerous team in the NFC right now with the way their defense is playing. Everyone was jumping on the Cardinals bandwagon last night it seemed.

People are still not used to taking the Cardinals seriously, that's just the way it is, and it's based on decades of futility so I'm not too irritated by it. It'll take a few more postseason appearances. But it's good that the team seems to thrive off it a bit--anything that helps...

I think the real test is going to be consistency. I think this team has proven that they can play with the big boys, it's the little boys that beat them. When they meet a seemingly lesser-opponent in the first round of the playoffs, I think that's a scary proposition for this team. I have more confidence that they'd come to play against the Vikings and Saints than I do the Falcons (just as an example)

By that point in the game NBC knew that TVs were being switched off all over the country. Because the Cardinals were soooo superior. (Let's say that again Ladies and Gents. Because the Cardinals were so superior.) Immediately I thought, last ditch effort to keep the ratings numbers up.
