after what a bad niner offense did Sunday against the Cards, imagine what a high scoring team like the Browns will do? 6-10 / 7-9 thats how the season will end.

We could win two more games and be 7-9. With that record we will probably pick somewhere between #10 and # 14. Blue chip players will be gone but should get a decent player.

Cason might be there in the 10 - 14 range.

Do we start a draft thread now? Yeah sure, why not.

I think our needs are DE, CB, OT, RB, LB's (you can never have enough LB's) and a Punter.

I say draft the BPA in 1st round and hope it's Long (Howie's kid) or a CB.

We need replacements for Berry and Chike and we need depth at CB.
Find an OT we can develop as Jake Long will probably not be available when we draft.
This draft is supposed to be deep in CB's.

Good RB's can be found in the later rounds.

There are some speedy WR's (sub 4.4) out there as well, pick one up in the later rounds.

everytime I think we're dead, we get back on our feet, everytime I think we're on a roll, we roll over and play dead.

I have no clue what's next.

I like talking draft but I'm not giving up on the season yet. There is a very realistic possibility that we could be in first place in two weeks. It's not a given that the Browns will put up a lot of points. The Cards D looks horrible against horrible offenses but has looked pretty good against the better offenses that we have faced this year.

Now that I have posted that I'm sure that the Cards will back me up by getting beat by at least 35 at home.

I can’t take this underperforming team much longer. And although its preseason I do not see things changing this season. This team and ownership has taken all the joy I had for the NFL as a kid and turned it into apathy. I have come to the realization that I don’t really care and actually look forward to the ribbing and smack that comes after another demoralizing loss. This team has some offensive weapons and I will stay a huge Anquan fan however the O-line and the Defense looks porous at best. The defense has 1 decent lineman (Dockett) 1 decent LB (Dansby) and one elite DB (Wilson). If this team is not at least 3-2 after 5 games I will fully change my allegiances back to the Chargers as it was prior to 1988 when I actually loved the NFL and watching games on Sunday. I am thankful that I spent my money on ASU season tickets this season.

Is it time to talk about the draft?

Are you talking about the Cardinal's draft or the Charger's draft?

Draft threads during the season make me sick.
There's plenty of time for that jibba jabba after the season.:nono:

One thing this team has is INCONSISTENCY... One week they look terrible like Tampa Bay and 9ers, the next week they do great like Detroit and Bengals. So, you never know which team is going to show up next Sunday.

I think it has the makings of a great draft class. Depending on Juniors of course. Especially at LB, QB, LB/DE, and DE (all just seniors). If just a few Juniors come out at CB that will also be a good position in the draft. OT is also highly underrated. No blue chippers but a lot of just under the blue chip level.

Do you mean no blue-chip prospects overall, or just no blue-chippers at OT? Wouldn't Jake Long and USC's OTs Top 5 picks last year had they come out? Did something happen in the season that caused both of them to fall? Isn't Darren McFadden a super-blue chipper? Adrian Peterson-good without the injury question-marks?

I should have clarified it better. Just at OT. I dont consider Long to be a blue chipper at this time and dont thing he will be at that level come draft time. He is just to inconsistent and has been beaten for more then his fair share this season, plus I think he is a RT not a LT in the NFL.

No to Cason, unless it's in round 2. I don't know what it is but the guy looks slow to me.He makes plays, but even when eh was returning that punt, he looked slow. Jenkins is much better.

Cason shuts down WRs in the pac 10...some of the best WRs in college football and a pass happy conference. They don't even look his way. He's that good, plus some.

Jenkins is not much better. He's arguably better...that's it.

BTW I am on the Steve Slaton or Ray Rice bandwagon. Don't care when or how we get 'em as long as we do.

good job stalker :) its fans like you that keep crappy owners like the B's pockets full. The only thing that has not changed in the last 40+ years is the ownership. hmmm. They have their new stadium so whats the excuse now?

Hey it's our resident bandwagon fan. What do you do now? Cards are pretty much out of it, Chargers aren't looking so good, but guess what the Pats are 11-0. You can try convince us you were ALWAYS a Pats fan.
