After Matt's alleged wine-soaked comments about rather being benched than being subbed in and out constantly that undoubted pissed off the cardinal's brass and put a black eye on a successful dual QB experiment, do you think this unfortunate collarbone event could be the football gods' way of giving him what he asked for?

How can you make those comments as a human being let alone a cards fan. i wish injury on no player, let alone my own team and for you to say this is the football gods giving him "what he asked for" is truly sick.

I think he's just too fragile (mentally and physically) to play at this level.

Wow man, simmer down. I said it was an unfortunate event. I never said I wished injury on him. I brought up an iffy issue that goes along with comments made less than a week ago. I didn't say he deserved it, I didn't say I believed in karma myself. But I think given the situation's particulars, it warrants a brief discussion. The coincedence and bitter irony of the scenario brought this thought to my head. You really think it's sick to put the two together? You're crazy. If it's too sensitive of an issue for you I suggest you get off the internet.

In the post game interviews on 1060, Calvisi (sp?), or one of the commentators asked if Matt's injury might be a little more exaggeration, and a little less fracture on Matt's accord. Inferring that maybe he is trying to pull some sort of Jedi mind fry with both the fans and the coaching staff.

Haven't read any injury updates yet today, so I don't know how bad his shoulder is. Just writing what I heard on the radio...

Remember the sophmore slump of the majority of NFL QB's, this is Leinarts, I think he'll be fine, spend the rest of this year on the bench coming in for some spot duty during the last couple of games and another entire off season learning the new playbook and watch out for next year.

Last night on NBC, Peter King was reporting it as a complete clavicle fracture, not a collarbone. Take it for what it's worth...he was the only one to report it in this fashion and he said he spoke to someone, can't remember who.

Stick to the Suns board.

And I'm pretty sure it was Kwame Lassiter making the comments that it might have been Matt trying to "make a point" with this injury, which is just an absolutely ignorant comment. I did hear Kwame say that Josh was a "great" QB though...so that makes sense from a warped mind that would think those kinds of things. And before the KLass defenders jump me for that, I think he's a very cool guy myself, but his commentary on the team has always been off the wall, IMO. Even when he was on it.

This is the dumbest thread I've read so far today, but it's still early.

I've been planning some Kumites, so it might just get worse!
Which might bring up an odd situation of having that particular kumite thread as a competitor in the dumb thread kumite.

I say this with complete confidence that many threads started by Mulli will also be in the running.
