Do you really think Cards would trade Rosen and turn over the QB job to Murray?

The conversation about Rosen and Murray leads to one thing. Who is the best quarterback for the Cardinals.

I've seen Rosen play so I have doubts about him. If the Cardinals like Murray they should draft him.

No position on the team will have more impact than quarterback.

Except the ones that have inferior talent or No talent at all Please the old adage still applies a quarterback gets all the glory for the win and all the blame for the loss and last I heard there were 21 other guys on the field too

Yes, our opinions dont matter. And I freely admit I have no clue whether he is a superstar, a bust, or in between.

But if the CARDINALS think Murray is great they have to take him. How many GMs and owners have the stones to NOT draft a QB better the7 truly believe is better than the one they have now?

Bleacher Report is the fanboy nerd site. Pro Football Focus is unusually high quality and high tech. I guess that makes the nerds for sure, but they have what constitutes justifyable defense for their opinions. Not that I agree with them in this case.

It's all a question about what is going to build the team to championship competitiveness as soon as possible. Is Murray SO MUCH better than Rosen that you'd be willing to give up the player or picks the top pick could bring the team?

The problem would be solved easily if you could convince one of the multi-1st round pick teams to part with one for Rosen. Lots of teams still love the big pocket passer quarterback style (especially since they are the only ones that ever win Super Bowls)

Brees is 'only' 6 feet, but definitely is a classic pocket passer. Wilson got one, and was very good, but he had an all time great defense playing with him that deserves the lion's share of credit. The rest? Is all Brady, Roethlisberger, Mannings, Rodgers, Flacco, Newton, Goff, Wentz/Foles, and other giants like that who get the the title game.

I mean, you saw Rosen without a run game(worst in the NFL) or an offensive line. So make of it what you will.

Do you feel this is true about Murray?

I have an open mind about the quarterback position but Rosen has not given me much reason for confidence. Without the right quarterback the Cardinals are not going anywhere so I wouldn't minimize the impact.

IMO, the decision to draft Murray is best left to the scouts.

I’m all for this argument. Yes, we need the best player at the position, and if KK is convinced this is the guy... do it.

But man, I hope Keim, with decades of NFL scouting experience, isn’t going to just let his fired college coach dictate everything here. I’m all about giving a coach his shot at his player, but if this were business, and I got a look at Murray’s interview process, I’d be letting the guy that works for me know that he can’t hire his man.

This is where I'm at as well. The Cardinals should draft Murray if they think he can be their quarterback going forward.

If I didn't have doubts about Rosen, I wouldn't be talking about Murray.

This concern nags me as well.

Personally I'd like to keep both quarterbacks until we know for sure. It would be duplication but it's important to get it right.

Clarification wasnt talking about the QB position but rather all of the other positions IMHO this team Has Way to Many other Needs to draft yet another QB one year after drafting Rosen It Just does or the team would not have the overall pick in the draft

This team has to many holes. If you draft Murray you have to trade Rosen even if you get lowballed for a 2nd and 3rd rounder. That’s two more top-75 picks you need.

If you believe Rosen is your guy you don’t the Murray it’s that simple.

Your point is proven incorrect, so you are back to insults?

Weak sir...very weak.
.
You speak as its written in stone that Murray will kick ass in the NFL.You have no proof..only speculation.....and a lot of hype from a media driven frenzy that some lap up like pablum.I As for insults...if calling a fanboy site what it is ...then too bad.I have yet to see a real scout or former scout site annoint Murray as top pick.

The Cardinals hired Kingsbury. Let's hope they are calling the shots. If Keim and company don't like Murray they shouldn't draft him.

I understand. For me it's all about having the right quarterback.

If Rosen was a sure thing, I'd probably be pushing for a trade down to acquire more draft picks although I really like what I know about Williams and Bosa.

I wouldn't trade Rosen on the cheap. IMO, it's the wrong strategy.

Now if the Cardinals can get a good return for Rosen, I would consider it if they think Murray can be their quarterback.

You’re talking about two different scenarios now. Nobody wants to trade Rosen on the cheap but if you keep both QB’s then one of them will eventually be sold for even cheaper after they lose the job.

Show me where I have said Murray will kick ass. I am Switzerland on this one right now.

Insults are your go to move when you don't have anything of substance. Feel free to disagree with things without resorting to insults...that erodes your credibility.

Again, your original point was nobody credible had him #1. PFF is about as credible as any public source on the internet.

It could be the Cardinals hit on both quarterbacks.

If this best case scenario happens, they will be handsomely rewarded in a trade later on.

Maybe you can tell me this I have read where kk isnt even allowed to talk to the players till April 1 so how could he know what anyone in the team thinks let alone Rosen also I'm all for drafting Bosa or Williams or Trade down No one could have done anything with the mess that was last year No One

I'm thinking Keim and Kingsbury have discussed the team.
