It depends really. If it's a good cut of meat and the person preparing it was smart enough to let it rest before giving it to me than no way does anything touch my steak but me and my utensils.

I've it's dry, cheap cut, or well done then bring on the A1.

Are you serious????? If you have to use A1 to make your meat edible, well then, you're buying the wrong meat, suckah. Not to mention A1 is NASTY. If some ******* cooked my steak past medium rare, Id consider using horseradish sauce or lea and perrins, but A1 belongs only in one place, the garbage.

All scenarios are in a restaurant hence the "person preparing it" statement.

If I'm cooking a steak you can guarentee that A1 will not be needed.

Scared of a little passionate opinion are we?

Scared of a holier than thou opinion.

I actually like the taste of A1, and it works very well in a marinade. You say it is nasty, so we already disagree there. I like my steak cooked medium, and not medium rare.

A1 has it place, even if it is not in your house. It has one in mine for sure.

Maybe you should get some friends that have experience working the grill for 6 years at two different restaurants while in college.

I was the same way when I was still chefing it up. Very critical of everyone else's cooking styles and abilities while thinking mine were the bomb.

I still think mine are the bomb, but I'm not so critical about the rest of the food world anymore.

I am going to start putting A1 on Chipotle. Would be an improvement.

And thats fine with me, I dont get why you assume that I'd have a problem with your lack of taste!
