I am going to get a well done steak at some point, slather it in A1 Sauce and call it the Schudt because I am sure it tastes like his cooking. Yummy Good!

Wow, I wonder if Heinz 57 would get anyone worked up like that?

I've known plenty of professional chefs, having worked as one myself for 6 years and I can tell you they are all like that. As soon as they make it above prep cook they become immediate food critics and very snobby when it comes to taste. Why do you think so many of them go to school in France? They fit right in.

The funny thing is that is exactly how I like my steak. Since Schudt considers himself the standards of food, the well done A1 Steak covered steak shall be The Schudt.

I like my steak bloody. I abhor steak sauce. My wife loves it (also likes steaks MR). The kids have already picked up the (IMO) bad habit of dipping any and all meat in something. I put the kibosh on it occasionally. Other times I don't want to deal with the tears so I let it go with merely a few snide schudt-esque remarks.

Well, I had a steak over the weekend. Medium RARE...delicious. I did add some sauce, not steak sauce because I don't like that. I love BBQ sauce on ribs so I added it to the steak, it was good. I don't like too much blood, but medium rare is the way to go.
