My initial reaction was "Hell yeah, bring him back!"

However, I wonder if the ship has already sailed...so to speak.

The chief difference I see between his offense in KC and the offense he had here would be the presence of Kurt Warner.

Just my ignorant two cents worth.

Well, yeah....I would work for someone I don't like for 5 million a year. :D

But what if someone you did like offered you 4.5 million? :D

Funny that most of the negatives being posted about Haley would also apply to Ken Whisenhunt. Started Max Hall. Won a terrible Division. Teams were terrible without Warner. etc.

No most of the negatives are that his players tend to hate him and hes a complete Douche. Ken Whisenhunts players as a whole tend to like the guy.

You might look at Haley as one component of a coaching mix cocktail. Although he might be abrasive (& too much for a HC), Wiz may feel the offense needs a bit more Tobasco/& more emotional fire in the form of Haley.

Thats exactly why I'm all in Jeff!!! Haley's been on staffs of more successful offenses in this league than failures. IMO the Cards lost 2 motivating coaches in Haley & Carthon when they left.

Very interesting point you make there Jeff. The mixture of a volatile coach and the calm easy going coach could be just what the Dr. ordered. It's like the good cop bad cop routine.

Kinda.

But I think it might be more a function of Wiz being Wiz (I perceive him to be analytical and even-tempered) and our other coaches being who they are.

Different players have different buttons that need pushing than other players. Some may need to feel a solid #8 boot up their butts from time to time.

I'm just speculating that - whether it's tough love or just a couple of upticks in intensity at key times - Wiz may just sense the need for someone like Haley
