Doan out 2-3 weeks

Captain Shane Doan is out two to three weeks due to his back, which has been bothering him for some time. Nick Boynton is also day-to-day with a bruised foot. They join Mike Comrie (4 weeks, fractured foot), Steven Reinprecht (gone until Feburary), and Mike Ricci (yet to play a game this season) on the injured list. The Coyotes have been hit harder by injuries than any other team this year. I know even with all these guys they still aren't that good (even though this team hasn't been at full strength since the first game of the year), but this is getting ridiculous. At least Keith Ballard is back after missing a month with that broken hand.

After looking at Pittsburg, maybe a top pick would be a good thing. I do not want to give up on the season, but we need a playmaking scorer.

I don't think we have a choice but to give up on the year. Look how bad we are.

We gotta play for a pick, trade the vets, and load up on kids. Gotta play for the future now.
