Why not a second.Should’ve gotten more for Dobbs. At least a third
Maybe it underlined how some complain no matter what. Why is that interesting?
Two firsts!Why not a second.
What is there to complain about on a 1-8 team?Maybe it underlined how some complain no matter what.
Josh Dobbs has twice as many wins as we do as a team. What is there to complain about on a 1-8 team?
Some fans are never satisfied.
I would've settled for Justin Jefferson.Two firsts!
Keim would have got a fifth.Should’ve gotten more for Dobbs. At least a third
Only fans that expected this team to have a non-tank season are upset. I expected this type of year and so each loss bothers me less and less. What is there to complain about on a 1-8 team?

Of ScotchKeim would have got a fifth.
exactly!Of Scotch
Poverty mindsetWith a 7th? A seventh that could turn into a HIGHER sixth?
I’d rather have Dobbs. I’d argue that we added value to Dobbs over the previous eight games but we got less value for him.
Monti continues to make galaxy-brained trades.
Although I agree with the hyperbole portion of your post, I am not sure where we can be confident that we had a shot at him in FA. Monti said the financials didn't work out. I take that to mean that Cleveland was willing to offer him a fully guaranteed 2.5 million dollar deal with 500k of it as a bonus. Not sure how many other teams would have made that offer. And if the cards did how many here would have been happy about it? I predict very few.No. Sorry. The above isn’t just hyperbole, it’s a total fabrication about why people were mad about the move at the time. The anger came from the fact that this team HAD to give up assets for a guy they should have just signed outright in FA but were too cheap too AND we should have never depended on Colt McCoy’s completely washed ass in the first place, necessitating the Dobbs trade.
posts that not only oversimplify others arguments but completely misrepresent what the original pov was does nothing but try and stoke flame wars.
Not sure why EA gets a thumbs down here. For all intents and purposes we trade Simmons, josh Jones, and Dobbs for a 6th rounder. 2 guys we were cutting anyways and a backup qb that although he struggled in the end, he served his purpose.
We didn't gain much but we didn't lose much either

Count me as a Josh Dobbs fan.Dobbs did this on his own Tiktok

Complain about everything the Cardinals do.So you thought it was a bad trade to when we signed him for a late 5th (it was the Eagles 5th) but now you think it's bad we get a 6th back? Likely a mid 6th. And it will be a 6th, because he is going to start 4 games barring injury.
You'd rather have 1-7 Dobbs for a additional start so he can then warm the bench for Murray and hit FA than get most of the pick back you thought was way too much 10 weeks ago?
Make this make sense.
100% If it came out the Vikings offered a 6th and we turned it down you would be here complaining how Monti was dumb to turn down a 6th for a guy to warm the Bench for 7 games. Guaranteed.
