Fact, or no fact, I'll put my money on RG coming with a low ball first offer. We don't know what their 1st offer was. We do know they waited too long to give their best offer.

So they should highball the first offer ?

you tell 'em Cbus, I'm with ya. As long as Mr. B still has a breath some part of this franchise will never change. RG is the puppet & Mr. B is the puppetmaster.

adda yadda yadda......................Some people are never happy.Get a grip.
Every freaking player thinks he is underpaid.cards lost Dansby a good not great LB who wanted to be paid like a All-Pro.Rolle was a star one week and missing in action the next week.Boldin was a trooper although it was tiresome listening to another millionare player bitch about money.Everybody can`t be paid like All-star players.

If the Cards had offered him that deal (yesterdays) last year before franchising him again, I just don't beleive his in Miami right now. How about 2 years ago? How much did we pay him by the tage the last 2 seasons? How much did Miami give him guaranteed? I rest my case.
I think they did basicallly offer that deal last year and Dansby fired his agent...

But from Dansby's perspective he was able to pocket an additional 9 million and accept the same offer.

Graves just tried to make Rolle the highest paid S in the NFL. Tried giving Dansby 8.7 mill a year and 20+ mill guaranteed. People are still worried about us trying to be cheap, I don't get it.
I do wonder why, after being offered high salaries they're willing to move.

There is an enormous piece of ego boost and star power that comes along with being a big new free agent signing. They get more attention, and quite frankly get more media attention which can lead to more endorsement and money deals. They sign for their old team for the same money, it is just business as usual with a bigger check.

Dockett sounded great and more up beat then I thought he would. I think he is more hurt about losing some friends then anything else, but he truly believes in Wiz and the staff he built.

And this is very good news. A focused DD will be great for this team. Maybe he will step up and be the leader of the Defense.

In regards to Dockett, he either has me fooled by playing the right game, or he is stepping up to be a true leader on this team. I love that he stepped up and backed the coaches and organization for trying to keep these guys around, and I know he will step up on the field as well. Dockett is the kind of guy you build a defense around, so lets make sure thats how it works out.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone didn't give old Docka a call last night to reassure him of the teams plans. Sometimes you have to remind players that things are done for a reason, and that you aren't throwing in the towel.

Personally.. From watching Docketts twitter this week, he seems to be happy in AZ and seems like he is truly hurt by his buds leaving because he wants to make it happen here in AZ.. Dockett can be all over the place at times on that twitter, but if youve followed him enuff on it, what he's been saying this week seems genuine..

I agree! I think he has finally settled in and is a Cardinal! I think he is going to once again be a force and hold others accountable. These vacancies may bring out a leadership role in Dockett that was not there in the past. He has been good, but not a leader. This may be what he needed to step up and be a leader. I fully expect he will do what he has to do to stay a Cardinal and win the NFC West many many times in a row.

Actually he was asked if he has talked to coach yet and Docket said he did not. He pretty much had his attitude because he talked to Rolle and Rolle told him how hard Wiz tried to keep him and how much Rolle appreciated that. Not enough to stay of course but it seems his conversation with Rolle is the reason for his seemingly more upbeat attitude. That was the impression I got.
