Find the NFL far less interesting after the Cards are eliminated. I enjoyed the playoffs and I’ll watch the Super Bowl, but I just can’t get excited. In fact I think I like the college game better. Not only future Cards but more diverse offenses. Just more fun!

I lose a bit of enthusiasm but the other playoff games this year were really good. I don’t care for college anymore, especially since ASU has been irrelevant for a long time.

Of course. I made A LOT of bets on squares and parlays. More then ever before which speaks to my excitement about the actual matchup.

A better matchup and I’d be more excited for the game but today is more about getting back to normal, seeing a bunch of friends down south I have t seen for 2 years... pretty much since the 2020 pee-pandemic Super Bowl. So I’m really excited just for that alone.

I hate the Rams and think they’re going to win so the game is truly secondary.

I fall into this camp. I lose some interest but the last two weeks of the playoffs were sooooo good this year it got me hooked.

If ASU is meh (so most seasons) I don’t have much interest in college until the playoffs.

Just depends on who is playing in the Super Bowl. Not excited about either teams this year. Do agree that it is not as interesting once the Cards are out.

I’ve watched and enjoyed all the playoff games…well except for one of them.
I look forward to the Super Bowl but I haven’t been glued to NFL Network this week.

This will be the first SB I'll be watching in several years. Probably 6-8 years of just not caring one iota about the game.

I'm thinking of skipping watching it altogether this year.

Might leave the TV off.

But ain't we kinda used to the Redbirds not playing this time of year?

No Brady, no patriots, no rapist,... this should be a momentous occasion.

But it's me.

I don't really want anyone to win. I'm pulling for Cincinnati but it ain't so much that I want them to win as I want the rams to lose.
Not so much the rams as Aaron Donald... dude is a stud. But despite that he is still dirty....when you can play by the rules and dominate, but still make the decision to do dirty ****, that says something about who you are as a person.....and I don't like what it says...... then all these announcers talking about his " hall of fame career" .... well IMO he hasn't had that yet....few more years of production, then yeah, but don't measure him for a jacket just yet.

I don't want that ******* to get a ring.
But the Bengals line is terrible... Donald or Miller either one would eat them alive...

But they gotta stop them both.

So yeah, no high hopes. But it's the last game of the season so I'll watch... most likely going to forget who played in it by next season anyway

Completely agree with you. College I can watch all day if I am not careful.

Other than Cardinals games, I am sure I did not watch even one other NFL game in its entirety. Maybe today.

I still watch but get to thinking this quite a bit. "Why can we not have an offense like that, defense like that & a GM that knows how to build a team with depth"? Many thoughts run through my head but those are the main ones. Still watch cause I love football.

Yeah it’s frustrating watching a team make simple plays that we don’t make. Or play a game without a bunch of stupid penalties we routinely make. Or how about a QBs stand back there all day with a line that gives him time to go thru lots of progressions? Or how about a defense that doesn’t routinely give up 3rd and longs on the regular? This team does many things wrong but the haters will just say Kyler didn’t play well and not factor in the epic load of crap he is ask to overcome

Or the blind faithers will say it's anyone BUT KM's fault and that he bears no blame.

Serious question: If he doesn't mature over the offseason, do we have a chance to get better?

I enjoy watching the Red Zone on Sundays. I usually record other games I like so I can speed to the beginning of each play. Only listen to the announcers a few minutes each game. I never watch any pregame or hype leading up to a game. "Just the facts, Mam." as Joe Friday used to say. I watch the Super Bowl, but only the game, never pay any attention whatsoever to the days leading up to it, the halftime show, or any commercials.

Now for college football, I love it no matter who is playing. Love the spirit of the fans and the whole spectacle. I can watch nearly any college game as long as it is relatively close. And there are lots of teams besides ASU I root for weekly.

By Monday night I am well overdosed on football each week. Just so many games starting on Thursday night right thru. If I had to give up one of either pro or college, I would give up pro. I just find the college game/teams on a whole so much more involving and exciting from the coaches, players, teams/schools, etc. Plus you can watch so many teams and schools, and it seems like nearly every night of the week, except when the Pros take over on Sun and Mon.

I care a lot more about my 2 time alma mater, ASU, and if they win or not, than I do the Cards. I have a love/hate relationship with the Cards, and am so used to them losing that it doesn't affect me as much. I have been an ASU fan, student, and employee, plus gone to games for 50 years.

Since there is no one left in my life to care what happens to me, I have thought of having an ASU tattoo on my butt cheek, leaving my body to the Med School at UofA, and when those Wildcat med students roll me over to dissect me, they'll be greeted by Sparky with the words "You can kiss my A.." written underneath.

They are supposed to dissect, not mutilate.
