Do they have a deal with the NFL where they get to wear white every stinking game? If I was a team at home Id where my white jerseys just so Dallas couldnt.. And if every team conforms to Dallas so they can wear their whites, thats sickening..

Home team gets to choose.

Most teams choose their dark jerseys so the @#$%# usually get to wear white.

it's so funny that you guys spend that much thought on the cowboys. I like the blue jerseys much better too. I am with you guys on that.

You know what is even funnier, that you spend all your time on a Cardinal web site talking about or bringing up the Cowboys in every single post. There is this great thing called the web which allows you to post on a Dallas site even if your in Arizona! - just thought you might want to know since we hardly talk indepth about your favorite team.
The best uniforms by Dallas in my opinion are the dark jerseys from the throw back days with the blue star on the white helmet, the stark contrast looks nice.

They're my second favorite team!

But seriously, the Cardinals made a habit of wearing their red uniforms at home every week except when the Cowboys came to town because Dallas supposedly had a dark uniform curse. Bidwill was the only one who made a habit of testing it.

Cards also wore white at home during hot months to keep the players cool. Other teams do this from time to time as well.

The story behind this was that former GM Tex Schramm had the idea that having the Cowboys in White would allow Dallas fans to see the visiting teams in their own colors.

Then, the supposed "curse" with the Royal Blue jerseys took over as the reason...in fact, Mr. Bidwill often would rent out a billboard in Dallas before the Cowboys would play at the Cardinals to "get into their heads".

In 1981, the Cowboys resigned their "road" unis (and completely messed up their color scheme - don't get me started!), and since then, haven't seemed to play up the "curse" as much.

actually i didn't come on this forum for the cards(for the suns). but i do like this forum. i could go on a cowboys forum, but i could probably tell you everything they are talking about without even looking. it is much more interesting on here. the cowboys do come up quite often and if you notice i never start a cowboys topic.......just respond. gotta defend your team as some point. not to mention i live in arizona.

Chargers did it against Chicago on Sunday.

it does make sense to wear white. former cowboys Dlineman Jack del rio made a point in the offseason to make the cowboys wear blue in their opener last year in j-ville. he said the humidity and heat takes a toll on those dark jerseys. well the cowboys lost.

This is why the NHL switching home teams to colors was so stupid. Its good to see all the different colors when you go to games. Always having the opposition look basically the same in white is bad marketing imo.
