Fitz took a backseat to Floyd as the flanker the past 2 seasons. I feel he was better playing the X, and his recent comments seem to fit that he wants to be the #1 guy. Does he go back to the X (Split-out) or does he stay as the Z (Flanker) as he's been for the past 2 years?

Floyd failed to step up as the #1 they were hoping. Arians will abide by Fitz's desire to go back outside. They probably give Floyd one more year to show he wants to step up or else they start looking at other options.

I think Floyd can do a lot of the blocking Fitz had to do last year. I also think Fitz could as productive as Floyd has been as wide out, if not more so.

Personally, I'm going to take the stance of politician...

I expect Floyd and Fitz are going to be more interchangable in what they are going to be asked to do in 2015. Makes sense to me, as it will be more challenging for defenses to call coverages based on where our WRs line up.

Floyd did not fail. For Christ sakes I don't care who you have playing WR you could of trotted Megatron out there it doesn't matter when you have guys like Stanton and Lindley missing you by ten feet. WR is a completely dependent position.

Larry Fitzgerald is not that player anymore he can't get separation like he used to. You guys honestly think BA is doing this with some hidden agenda? If Fitzgerald was better on the outside than Floyd he would be on the outside. I think the coaches you know that guy that keeps winning coach of the year knows how to use his players in the position that's going to fit them best and be best for the team.

Fitz averaged 81 receiving yards per game with Palmer. 38 yards without.

He doesn't need separation. It should be fitz and Floyd on the outside, with John brown in the slot.

So who is your deep threat? The cardinals don't run that patriots dink and dunk offense that needs a tiny guy in the slot

I don't believe they will be publicizing just where they will use Fitz or how they will use him. I feel that BA and Fitz will be able to choose when and how he is used to compliment the other receivers on the roster. Hopefully he is free to be a WR more than a blocking TE this year. I can see him becoming a huge RED ZONE threat, with his great hands, and strong and long body.

If Floyd is in shape next year, he should be on the outside. I think Floyd can still be a legit deep threat while the Fitz's days of stretching the field, never his role anyway, are done.

John Brown or even Ellington in the slot or wheel route can run the deep threat. I see Fitz/Floyd as similar receivers to Brandon Marshall/Alshon Jeffery tandem. They are not super fast guys but they stretch the field plenty. Fitz/Floyd are big receivers who can use his body and out jump the defenders.

Stays right where he's at, but will get more looks and some different routes. They need his toughness in the run game to seal the edges.
