Would be thrilled if we sign him. Scared to death to go into the season depending on Davis & Brown. They still need time to develop. Brown is really still a rookie. Get it done....

Yeah it only makes sense if we feel so needy at the position that we are going to have to play him as much as he wants. However, if that does end up being the case than that insubordination becomes a non-factor.

It's the principles behind it. I like what's been being built here these last few years. Bringing in people of high character and good sportsmanship. He has had the reputation of being openly defiant to his coaches over the years and especially with his age, and probable decline in ability, just not worth it in my opinion.

Sure, he may be better on the field than anything we currently have, but even with him, I don't think our defense is going to be a top defense this year. I'd just assume grab a couple young guys to go along with Davis, Brown and Haggans, and let them all get their playing time and job experience on the field rather than on the sidelines. I believe it'll be better for our defense in the long run.

I can't help thinking that Whizz is not going to let Davis out to dry this year but will reload on Defense...
