My family bought an old Nash Rambler when I was young that had been driven all over the world as I judged by all the decals. The odometer had turned over. I think we paid like $200 dollars for it. We drove it hard (and I do mean hard) numerous years and then finally sold it when something broke. Well, the gentleman who bought the car came back to us sometime later and said he fixed it for less than a dollar and it was still running great.

I just had to throw in my 2 cents about our Nash Rambler, one of the best cars ever owned. Maybe Steve Nash will keep on running awhile longer as well.
Good story! Maybe the Lakers can hire the grandson of the buyer. :)

I used to believe in Lakers conspiracy theories until the CP3 thing. They're done for the immediate future unless they hit it really big in this draft that doesn't contain any sure things. I think they #8 pick in this draft will have a similar boom/bust potential as the #1.

I was just being silly, I don't believe in any Lakers or NBA draft rigging conspiracies. I think teams like LA and Boston, got lucky to rack up a lot of wins and build a lot of history in a time period where not every team really cared about winning. LA got James Worthy #1 overall with Clevelands pick because the Cavs owner was a lunatic. Unfortunately, other teams didn't have the foresight to capitalize on awful front offices like LA/Dr Buss usually did.

Heh, the Cavs owner is still a lunatic.

Kobe Bryant Ruled Out For Remainder Of Season

Kobe Bryant will miss the remainder of the 13-14 NBA season.

Bryant, who is recovering from a fractured lateral tibial plateau of his left knee, was examined on Wednesday by team physician Dr. Steve Lombardo, who determined that Bryant’s injury has still not healed.

“With Kobe’s injury still not healed, the amount of time he’d need to rehab and be ready to play, and the amount of time remaining in the season, we’ve simply run out of time for him to return,” said Athletic Trainer Gary Vitti. “However, Kobe will have the entire offseason to heal, rehab and prepare, and we look forward to him being 100% for the start of next season.”

“Obviously this has been a frustrating and disappointing season, but I appreciate all the support I’ve received from the Lakers and the fans, and look forward to being back and ready for the start of training camp,” said Bryant.

Go Granny, Go Granny, Go Granny Go!

Unfortunately, for Steve, it sort of applies to him now. ;)

Speaking of Steve. What happened to our Steve? I haven't seen him around in ages.

If you mean me, I'm still around. For personal reasons I've been unable to watch the games while they're being played so I have little to offer most of the time. Still loving watching the team though.
