One thing that I like about the game being flexed is we will already know , as will the team , the results of ----- Packers ------- Sea Gulls ------- Vikings when we face the Eagles .

Eagles fans are starting to feel good about their chances after beating the Patriots and Bills. Even the hardened media types are thinking they can win the game.

The only concern I have is that their D line is top notch, especially Fletcher Cox. Their rookie CB who is forced into starting due to an injury is starting to play well and their Safeties are very good but I still see us passing for a ton of yards.

I'm honestly not worried about the Eagles, Packers, Seattle, or the Panthers. I'm only worried about us. That's it. Truly mean that, let them worry about us, that's all we should be worried about also. If our team plays well, listens to their coaching, they'll win against anyone. Play poorly, forget fundamentals, and we can lose against anyone.

The only one that worries me is PP. Sendlein too but the rest we've shown we can easily replace.

Okay, I am as guilty as anyone at perpetuating the Packers threads. I am done now. But you all realize we do have a game against the Eagles this week, right? Almost no conversations about that game. So let's flip the page for now. There is still plenty of time to blast the sellouts next week (sorry, couldn't resist one last rib :D).

Driving in today, I heard Doug and Wolf mention that the Philly media has dismissed the Cards as overrated. I haven't seen this. Anyone else?

I am worried about Peterson's ankle. If it hasn't healed by now, it may not until the end of the season.

Frostee will be back. This is huge.

No word on DJ's thigh bruise, so I am hopeful this is healed.

Powers says he is good to go this week.

The weather looks to be holding. 36-46 degrees at kickoff, little wind. No precipitation. That is another break for us this season.

I know it is disrespectful to the opponent, but I think the Card win this one running away. They were clearly running on fumes the last couple of weeks. The mini-bye better have rejuvenated them for the stretch run. With fresh legs, I think they take it to Philly and put the Pack/Hawks on notice for the last 2 games.

That's all I got on the NEXT game this morning.

Just got back from running some errands during which I listened to our local Philly sports radio talk show(WIP) and it was about 70/30 favoring the Cards to win among the listeners and the radio personalities.

Isn't it nice sitting here one win away from the Franchise record for wins in a season? In past years we'd be doing mock drafts already.

There are the typical fans who want to believe so they take the Pats and Bills wins and think they have a decent chance. There is a lot of conversation that if they beat the Cards then they can have real hope they stand a chance to do something in the playoffs. I can't argue that last point.

All I have heard from the hosts is total respect for the Cards and BA. Several polls run and or discussions on would you rather have BA or Chip as your HC and BA is running away with it.

BA is getting most if not all the credit for the improvement on the talent level of the team and Keim isn't getting mentioned at all. I think part of that is typical lack of deep knowledge or a team in another division on the other end of the country and the fact that Chip is being hammered for how he has screwed up as a GM now that he has that power.

Quite the opposite. There might have been some knucklehead callers who might say this(heard one today) but that's it. The pundits, save for uber homer Angelo Cataldi and he says stuff just to get a reaction but others including the former Eagles are giving the Cards tons of respect.

As I was pulling into work, Kent Somers was on and Mike & Ike were gaga on Carson Palmer. I didn't get to hear the rest of the interview because duty called but as I said above, the Cards are getting loads of respect in Philly.

Thanks for posting this. It's fun to hear local guys doing interviews on rival stations. You always hear the rival reporters doing the interviews on the AZ shows. And you can tell there's a relationship, that they appear on each others shows when the teams play. It just seems like alot of work to seek out those shows and look for segments that might be good. But I always did like Kent Somers. And I never heard him do a rival show. So this one was easy to find.

The Kent Somers interview is there under 'Behind Enemy Lines'. 'The Book of Ike' is pretty good too. Talks about the magical Eagles playoff run that was spoilt by the Cardinals, Warner, and McNabb. I guess Ike played for that Eagles team?

I think this board needs an attitude adjustment. The Cards are a damn good, top level team and we should start acting like it. For weeks I've read a lot of angst and worry about our opponents(the Rams, c'mon). The Cards play their game and they'll handle Philly. Now, I'm even reading about fearing Seattle in the playoffs.

Those teams should fear the Cardinals and we should act like we're fans of one of the best, if not the best, teams in the league. Do you really think Patriots fans would be worrying about going into a game at Philly? It would be like, another week, another win. The only question is by how much.

Sure, the Cards could lose. It's the NFL and any team can win. But the Cards are 11-2 this year and 20-3 the last 2 years with Carson Palmer's under center. Let's start acting like it. Us fans need some of the BA swagger. Go into Philly, take care of business, and lock down the #2 seed and see you in January.

CB feel you completely! If we do us, we will smash these clowns. We're just better. Period. I respect them, and what they're capable of. Talent wise I think they're the best team in NFC East, and should win it regardless of what happens tomorrow, but people here are forgetting that we're not just happy to be in the dance. We have things to accomplish still, and will not come in unmotivated. I'm not scared by their offense at all save Celek or Sproles. We need to handle this.
