It is a shame that our farm system doesn't have a Minor League catcher ready to become Miggy's backup.

It came down to a choice between Henry Blanco, who is now a Coach, and Tuffy, a weak hitter. Blanco doesn't even have a title and is listed after all of the other coaches.

Bolsinger gets his first MLB start today against Haren who is off to a great start.
Incredibly, as horrific as this start has been for the Dbacks, they are only 6 games out of first place... Yea, it's only April 19th, but there are 2 other teams that are farther back in their divisions than are the Dbacks (Astros and Cubbies)... Anyway, I still believe this team is better than they have shown and are closer to the team that played last night and won... I have no grand delusions of this team making the post season as our pitching is just not there. However, I don't think they will be breaking any suckiness records this season... Well.... I hope....

Not trying to over-analyze this but......Chris Owings is 4-6 against Haren and you bat him 8th??? His last 12 stolen base attempts he is 12 for 12 and you bat him eighth. I don't get it. Kinda sounds like a guy you'd want leading off in today's game.

Eric Chavez at the age of 36 can't play a lot of games but, when he does start, he is our cleanup hitter. Until today.

Is there any question that Chavez is a better choice than Montero? But he is batting sixth today, bumped not only by Montero but Aaron Hill (who is having a horrible year) as well.

Kirk Gibson has no respect for his players knowing their role from game to game. That is why why he shares with Kevin Towers the responsibility of the D-backs having the worst record in baseball.

I am also not impressed that when Jody Jackson interviews Gibby, he doesn't have the courtesy to take off his opaque sunglasses. 'Can't even look him in the eye. Not cool, Gibby! Are you hiding from the fans?
