That Big East cnference has gotten pretty tough from top to bottom. There's alot of legit football talent there too.

there's some good football players there but it's definitely towards the bottom rung of the ladder. I put them slightly above the MAC and comparable to the Mountain West.

If we do trade Q I don't see anyway we don't get back a dynamic offensive player in either the form of a 1st round RB or a trade for Tony G.

We need to replace at least some of that production from the loss of Q.

Be wary of lessons of the Phoenix based basketball team. In an effort to become more defensive they stripped away pieces of what made them special offensively. And now they are just above mediocre at both and out of the playoffs.

I am obviously not against the idea of trading Q but I am a firm beleiver in maintaining our offensive identity. And Q's production has to be replaced in the form of a 1st round pick or trade IMO.

Thats the problem with a lot of these guys is that you have to try to project them playing standing up vs. what they've been doing their whole time in college. It aint always easy.

I think we fans see a guy that fits the size/speed ratio and he looks good rushing off the edge with his hand on the ground and we think he works as a 3-4 backer.

I'm as guilty as anyone of doing that. The trouble begins when the guy isn't rushing the passer. What does he do then?

There are a whole other set of physical and mental skills that come into play in that scenario.

I really like Shonn Greene at RB. The trouble is the team wants a running back different from Hightower, and to me they are both between the tackles type. IMO, Greene is just a better runner, but it seems that the Cards like Brown.

I like Greene too but we seem to be in the minority.

My favorite comment about him is from Michael Lombardi of the NFL network. He is a former player personnel guy with Browns, Philadelphia, and a couple of others.

He said that tackling Greene was like trying to tackle a coke machine. So were not the only ones who like him.

I totally agree. Compliment Hightower and Greene with a speed RB and we would have quite the trio.

I think of all the RBs in this class, Greene is the most NFL ready, and may be by quite a bit.

What is your take on Clint Sintim from Virginia as the Cards pick at #31 if English and Barwin are off the board?? Many rate him as a low first round or early second round pick. There are mixed reviews on him but he was very productive.

A friend of mine, who is a big Packers fan, told me that the last time, in about five years, Ted Thompson was so intrigued by a propect as Larry English, was when he drafted Jermichael Finley last year. So I could definately se him taking English in the top ten.

My take on Sintim is that this is a guy who is used to play in this system. I hope the Cardinals take Donald Brown, but if they had to first round picks, or maybe one first round pick and an early second round pick, I would be all for Sintim.

I think they're going into Saturday targeting the English/Greene combo.

But they'd sure like English/Brown.
