Auld is 2-0 with the Bruins, letting in only 1 goal tonight and only 1 goal a few nights ago. Not bad for a guy who had one of the worst GAA with the Coyotes. Was it the goalie or the team?

Auld playing with Coyotes pads, helmet, and stick. I never understand why all goaltenders don't have a backup white/black helmet and white/black pads in case of a trade. If I was the commish, I would make that a requirement.

Goaltenders can get really finicky about their gear. He might already have an extra set that hasn't been broken in enough for his liking to be used in a game (or a practice set that is too broken in). Then there's guys like Rick DiPietro who love using new pads and use a new set every month or two.

Ilya Bryzgalov's numbers:

As a Coyote: 9-6-1 with a GAA of 2.09 and .931 Save Percentage
Season Total: 11-9-2 with a GAA of 2.24 and .924 Save Percentage

To compare...
Martin Brodeur: 18-12-2 2.23 GAA and .914 PCT
Roberto Luongo: 16-11-3 2.03 GAA and .929 PCT

By the way, I like Bryzgalov's new equipment. He got the mask first, then the pads and the red stick.
