DPOY.

FTFY.

Three minutes left to go in the game, down seven points and the bad guys in our territory - that's game over without Daryl.

I've never seen a QB get sacked that quick in all my life watching NFL football...seriously. Sacked & fumbled on the QBs 3rd step on a drop back. Wow I'm still amazed & think we need a short clip of that awesome play here!

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. Pro Bowl is fine. But he's playing at an unbelievable level. Stay healthy DWash - this team needs you!!

I've only watched it about 20 times so far. If I were a Dolphin fan I'd be re-winding it and slo-mo'ing it over and over in a futile effort to prove to myself the guy was offsides. It was just incredible. We've had some mind-blowing game-changing plays the past two seasons and I'd be hard pressed to name a favorite but this one is right up there.

Yep what an amazing play and he was clearly onside too he just got shot out of a cannon on that and saved the game.

Arguably the best player on our defense. He was amazing yesterday.

How lucky we are to have Daryl Washington, Calais Campbell and Patrick Peterson on this team. For all of our past issues in drafting, these guys were great picks. We aren't as far from San Fran defensively as I thought we were.

We definitely missed Dockett yesterday. We didn't seem to have the same front push we usually get. With Dockett, Tannehill does not get anything over 300yds

Darn tootin'

For all the Blok love on the board today, he would be the ultimate goat right now if it were not for Washington's HUGE play.

Washington bailed the team out yesterday. Kolb would have never had the chance to throw that BEAUTIFUL pass to Roberts if it were not for his TEAMmate.

Uhhh.... He would be a brick in the wall but the ultimate goat?

I got Gay, our Tackles, and all our other CB's all below him. And it still took a record breaking rookie performance (He broke Marino's rookie team record) from Tannehill and a super human performance from Wake to cause it.

It took the whole team to look that crappy.

If throwing a extremely bad INT in the endzone after a 60+ yard fumble return when up by 14-13 in the fourth quarter is not setting yourself up to be the goat then, I guess not.

Just me I guess.

We are still up one.... Even with that horrible decision. We got a ton of CB's that got torched all night long. Including the play right after the play you mentioned.

Don't forget Sam Acho. Talk about a great value as a 4th round pick. 10 sacks and has only started 14 games. Team is 11-3 since he took over at ROLB and he was outstanding in keeping containment on the (Miami) left side yesterday.

These are the guys along with Dan Williams and others I was talking about in August of 2011 when I started the thread on how we had an outstanding collection of young talent on our defense.

I have a hard time putting Acho with the likes of Campbell, Washington and Peterson just because he isn't the physical freak that they are. But, he is a stud and completes a very solid core of young talent. Give us a rush talent across from him ala an Aldon Smith and we would have a game wrecking defense.
