TURK: "Well Easy, we decided to pick up Emmanuel McDaniel and I regret we have to let you go. Mac wants to see you. And, oh yeah, don't forget to bring your playbook"

NIJRILL: "Dang!"

MAC: (gives Eason a really hard noogie on his shoulder): "Hang in there, little buddy.

NIJRILL: Owww! My shoulder!

MAC: Oooops! Hey guys! Easy hurt his shoulder. How did that happen? I'm shocked and dismayed. I guess it's gonna be the IR for you, #27. Seeya next Spring!

Nope - This from today's Mariucci article in the AZR:
Quick kick
Cornerback Nijrell Eason was put on injured reserve rather than releasing him. The team cut Eason to make room for cornerback Emmanuel McDaniel. But Eason's exit physical revealed a shoulder problem, prompting his change in status.
