Lebron disappearing down the stretch and Hawks back within 4 with under 2 minutes to play. I expect he will eventually hit a shot though to eek this out.

And there it is. Millsap overplays and no one steps up to help. Wow. Hawks not ready for prime time.

I just watched the last few minutes of the game, but the Hawks kind of reminded me of some of the old Suns teams. Great regular season record, good shooters, home court advantage, playing at home in game 1 of a playoff series, but not quite ready to step it up for the playoffs, losing game 1 at home to the grittier more physical opponent.

At first I had the Cavs penciled in for a sure series win over the Hawks in 5 games or less.

But I can't see Smith being a consistent enough scorer throughout the series.

This might go the full 7. Hawks play a like a team and should respond in a collective manner.

Screw LBJ. Go Hawks !!

Agree. Gifted physically and a great talent but my least favorite player behind only Bruce Bowen (who deliberately tried to injure people)

I can't stand watching Lebrum whine and cry while occasionally playing ball

sweep coming. 5 straight Finals for LeBron. I don't care what conference you play in. That's impressive.

Lebron put on a show out there. It seems he has the whole Hawks team intimidated. They don't have anyone that can match his level of intensity, they look scared.

Its too bad John Wall got hurt. I think Washington/Cleveland would have made for a great series, but Atlanta is fraudulent.

It's sick that LeBron even at his old age can just dominate teams so easily. No Love, basically no Kyrie, hobbling Shumpert, LeBron hobbling himself and yet no problem.

Did anyone else think Atlanta got hosed really hard with the ejection of Horford?

They played with a lot of guts, those Hawks did. And, the Cavs played tough too. It just seemed like the refs decided the game right there.

Delladova should be suspended. This is his 3rd incident in the last like 7 games. He deserved that elbow to the head. He clearly was trying to throw himself into Horford's legs, just as his "hustle" dive for the ball in the previous game involved rolling all the way up Korver's leg.

Guys who are out there trying to injure people don't belong in the league. If the league doesn't do anything about it and I were a GM I'd make sure to get an enforcer on my roster, some untalented bum who's job it is to go out there and wreck anyone who does the dirty garbage that guys like Delladova, Beverley and Bowen partake in.

Yep, and on a couple of those replays you can see him deliberately trying to get peoples knees. Listen, I'm sure Cavs fans are playing the WHAT? OMG What on earth art thou speaking of? Inconceivable!!!

It's all about perspective. This guy is definitely getting pulled down, but he is also forsure rolling into people in an effort to accentuate the contact and get calls. I dont think its necessarily dirty, but it's wreckless and the result has been a guys season getting ended.

You can't even play hard or dive for a loose ball without getting labeled dirty anymore. With the constant flopping and overreaction to physical plays the NBA is becoming annoying. Hope this doesn't stop the kid from playing hard.
