Why is Irving playing in this game? why not rest him till the finals?

Yes he turned his body and rolled, the only reason he didn't actually roll is he made contact with Korver. Maybe he was doing it to protect his own head I don't know, but he was in fact trying to roll. the reason I point that out is that is NOT a basketball act, in fact had he rolled over with the ball, they should have called traveling although they almost never do.

I watched that vid a bunch of times and what it looked to me is he grabbed the ball before Korver got a hand on it and curled his body between Korver and the ball to retain sole possession. It looked like a smart maneuver to me - and a legitimate basketball action. Also note that he was intently focused on the ball so he was unlikely to be figuring out how best to damage Korver.
