Eastern Finals: Boston vs Orlando

Looking back at the box score:
Orlando shot 41%. Honestly i didn't think it was that poor....damn. Boston was up on their perimeter guys all day,in their grills.

Even D.Howard goes 3-10 with a combined 12 pts from Garnett/Perkins. Perkins didn't play well but old man Sheed played smart D,scored 13 pts and outplayed Howard.

Boston got creamed on the offensive glass 15-7 yet they still had only 3 less FG attempts than the Magic did.....sorry but thats more than just poor shooting,thats dfense.

Orlando will adjust and find their offense,but after sleepwalking thru the first two rds they ran into a buzzsaw today.

Howard was hacked a lot and there was a ton of no calls on each side.. Even rondo was extremely blatantly fouled by rashard lewis but no call.

Magics are no match to the Celtics as I predicted. It's gonna be a Suns-Celtics finals series. And Suns will win for the reason that Amare is the best offensive bigman none of the other remaining teams could really neutralize. Perkins, KG, Gasol, Bynum, Odom, none of them can defend Amare truly one-on-one, or as well as Camby did.

That is not what I said. I said they can't rely on the 3 point shot to win them games (a la D'Antoni). They must have balance or the Lakers will park it on our 3 pointers and we will be done. If we have balance then the Lakers have to worry about shutting down multiple things.

I am not sure the Suns are better then the Lakers, Magic or Celtics. However, if the Suns man handle the Lakers by doubts will disappear.

Actually, we don't rely on 3s as much as we force them to give us 3s by constant threat in the paint via Amare-Nash that cause collapses. Here is a nice vid that demonstrates it:

I am not kidding. If I was that close to where that fan was I'd do the same.. At Game 1 when the spurs were here I was sitting a little upwards of the spurs bench and I was trying to yell profanities at duncan

If I was this fan in the video, I would whipped the damn ball so hard back at that ref..

I wouldn't have done the same thing. I'd have kept the ball and tossed my shoe at him. The ball would make a nice keepsake and you can always limp to the parking lot.
