All up until 2003:

Primal Fear
The People vs Larry Flint
American History X
Rounders
Fight Club
The Score
Red Dragon
25th Hour
The Italian Job

Then he kinda fell off the map until The Incredible Hulk which got recast. What ever happened to him?

Isn't he the one who pissed off almost everyone he worked with, always telling them how to do their job? I know he gets a lot of the blame for his Hulk movie being so clunky.

He's still been acting, doing voice work, and writing/directing his own films (like Motherless Brooklyn).

There are murmurs of that kind of stuff with him. Christian Bale, Russell Crowe, Gwyneth Paltrow etc are notoriously hard to work with but they have pretty impressive longevity in the industry.

Birdman? Grand Budapest Hotel? He's around. Haven't seen Motherless Brooklyn yet but I heard good things.

And wrote some great songs, too... "Swanee River." A real renaissance man.

Motherless Brooklyn was very good. My fiancee's family is from Brooklyn and a lot of the happenings in the movie are based upon real events that occurred (with the names changed to protect the guilty and the innocent).
