Edgerrin James, Arizona Cardinals running back, will make an appearance at noon today at Sam's Club, .....He will sign sports memorabilia and pose for photos with fans. The number for information is 480.726.9383.

According to the lady the location is at I-10 and Ray Road. The newsprint location was a mistake.

Thanks to the board for the tip. Had some yardwork to this morning, but the wife convinced me to blow it off. We live in Chandler, so it was quick trip.

Edge was supposed to show up at noon, but didn't come in until 12:30. Line was pretty reasonable. Not sure how many people were there, but they said he was only doing 300 autographs. I think everyone got one.

Had him sign my Sporting News NFL Preview with him on the cover. Pretty cool. His signature is legable and doesn't just look like a squiggle. Scan is attached.

Where'd you get a copy of the Sporting News? Please let me know. I haven't been able to find one anywhere.

Unfortunately nowhere near here. I was in Indianapolis, prepping to kill about six hours of bordom (four hour flight + 2 hour delay) so I figured I'd pick up an NFL preview to kill some time. Walked into the newstand at the Indy airport and saw Edge on the cover in a Cards jersey and it made it a quick choice.

I would have picked you a copy had I known....

The Sporting News does a good job of covering the Cardinals. I don't know if someone higher up is a fan, but we tend to have a lot of extra articles in the magazine for no more success than we have had over the last few years.
