I recently watched this film. I was surprised to learn that Eminem turned down the role of Max. Not that he needs the money, but it would have been huge for him.

Stout, while you make a great case for your theory, I think you may be running in that direction a little too far. Of all the stuff I've read about Blomkamp discussing the film he hasn't brought up the points you mentioned. He only discusses the social commentary previously mentioned.
