Dont be daft. Theres a difference between superstars, avg talent and those bums.
And whos talking about the Eagles defense? The entire team went 8-8 with big names on both Offense and defense. As long as we're on the subject, theyd better be top 10 considering they have multiple superstar level pieces. But while we have lesser talent, we had a stronger D because of the system.
Don't be condesending when making a poor arguement. Calling people daft because they don't agree with your overly negative opinions is pretty silly.
A lot of people are talking about the Eagles defense, and the defense is not the reason that team went 8-8. And, SHOCKER, the reason for that defense's struggles is...wait for it.... a lack of talent at the linebacker, and safety position. You know, cause the Eagles thought they could just bring in anyone and stick them at linebacker and safety. Funny, you would bring up the one team that blows bazooka sized holes in your theory.
And yes there is a huge difference between the talent on this team now and the talent that was consistently here 10 years ago. There is no doubting that. Go back, check the records, the stats, and all the things that would make a person say, things are better now.
I would let Horton go before letting Keim go. No second thought about it.
Coach up your players all you want, but if you don't have the talent to get the job done, then the job doesn't get done.
