Anybody get this?

For $50 (PC) or $60 (360/PS3), it comes with Episode Two, Portal, Team Fortress 2, plus both Half Life 2 and Episode One. This could be one of the best deals in video game history. Episode Two is a blast to play, a worthy addition to the HL2 universe. While Portal itself is short, it is a ton of fun to play and the portal gun opens up a lot of possibilities for use when it makes the jump to the other HL2 settings.

Yeah I got it. I've played about 2 hours so far.

BTW, if anyone here has a capable pc and hasn't played Half Life 2, let me know. I have a license I can give away now that came with the orange box.

I'll hook you up. I need to figure out to transfer the license. Do you have steam installed on your computer?

If Ken winds up not being able to use it, could I get the extra license?

In a van...down by the river.
Bump:
Just purchased the Half Life 2 Orange Box for $24 at FYE.
I've been waiting to play this for a loooong time but it was unavailable on the PS2 and my wimpy laptop couldn't handle the PC version*.
Played a couple hrs into it last night and man is it tough in spots already. Love the physics engine though.
I wanted to mention Portal. What an interestingly fun experience that is. I went thru the first 15 levels last night & really enjoyed it.
Tried the multiplayer online(Team Fortress 2) and thought it was hokey and a little dumb but i'll give it another shot later on.

*I also have a licensed copy of Half Life 2(also includes Half Life 2 Deathmatch) for the PC and would look to practically give it away at this point. PM me if you're interested.

Wow old thread, but fantastic game.

episode 2 was pretty good. Half Life series and Day of Defeat are the only PC games I still play. The add on game in this package, Portal, was the best game I've played in a LONG time.

Portal was freaking great. I just bought the Orange Box a couple weeks back and decided to play Portal. Was hooked from the get go. Freaking great game.

Agree with Ash on the ending song. In fact, that song was so popular it made its way over to the game Rock Band.

I thought so as well...until I played Portal. The song made sense then and I had a new appreciation for it. If you have not played Portal then it is extremely annoying. Not sure it should still be a RB1 song but I understood the popularity of it.

Without playing the game (played it in one sitting, just couldn't stop it was that good) I could understand not liking the song. But Steeldog is definitely right, play through the game and its all good.
